Pete Moore BSc PhD

• now lives near Bristol, but for most of his writing career he lived in Ashtead.
• was editor of the Parish Magazine Ashtead at from the first issue of the new style at Easter 1996 until Easter 2003
• studied physiology and biochemistry for his BSc and PhD at Reading then conducted research into neonatal development at University College Hospital, London Medical School
• is Honorary Fellow in Ethics from Trinity College, Bristol
• is a freelance science writer who seeks to stimulate, participate in and enable the public debate that surrounds developments in medicine, science and ethics by providing information in a form that is accessible to all sectors of our society.
